With over 10 years in architecture and real estate, Etta Madete leads Zima Homes as Founding Director and Board Chair. She is dedicated to transforming housing through sustainable, affordable and gender-inclusive solutions that empower communities in emerging markets. Guided by a belief that design and finance can drive lasting social impact, Etta continues to shape a more equitable future for urban living.

Peninah Gichugu
Zima Homes Sales Consultant

With over 12 years in real estate, Peninah Gichugu leads Zima Homes as Senior Manager and Head of Sales, Investors, and Property Management. She is passionate about creating affordable housing and unlocking real estate investment opportunities that drive community growth. Peninah continues to deliver impactful solutions that shape the future of housing and investment in emerging markets.

Amos Mthembo
Board Member -Reall Representative

Amos is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and the Lead for Commercial Build at Reall, a Coventry-based social enterprise financing climate-smart, affordable housing projects across Africa and Asia. With extensive experience in project portfolio development, investment approvals, and independent monitoring for global design and consultancy firms, he brings over a decade of expertise to his role.

Linda Matte
Head of Design and Construction

Linda has over seventeen years of experience in architecture and construction in Kenya, contributing leadership across diverse residential, commercial and institutional projects. She holds a Bachelor of Architectural Studies and is licensed as an Architect with BORAQS. Committed to advancing sustainable, resilient and inclusive design, Linda continues to support built environments that strengthen communities and foster long-term growth and enable lasting impact.

Purity Lubira
Logistics Manager

Purity Lubira is a seasoned Logistics and Procurement professional with over eight years of experience in logistics coordination, operations, procurement, supply chain management, and administrative support. She is committed to advancing efficient, transparent and sustainable systems that strengthen Zima Homes performance and empower the team through leadership and a solutions-driven approach to every phase of our strategic growth.

Godfrey Ndegwa
Finance Manager

Godfrey Ndegwa holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and serves as the Finance Manager at Zima Homes, bringing extensive experience in financial management and strategic planning. He is committed to strengthening systems through rigorous analysis, transparent reporting and prudent stewardship, helping guide sustainable growth and long-term value for teams, partners and communities across evolving markets in Kenya and the broader region.

Jackson Nyaga
Site Supervisor

With 3 years of experience in construction, Jackson Nyaga leads project execution at Zima Homes as Site Supervisor, ensuring quality delivery and timely completion. He is passionate about problem-solving, attention to detail and supporting the growth of his team. Committed to excellence and community impact, Jackson contributes to Zima Homes’ mission of transforming urban communities through high-quality, sustainable housing.
